By the proposal of Artistic Association “Sava Jeremic” Municipality Assembly assigned manifestation “Sava Jeremic’s Days” into program-developing documents. First cultural manifestation was held on 6th and 7th of July 2000 in Razanj.
Artistic Association “Sava Jeremic” organized this manifestation with patronage of Razanj Municipality, co-financier Ministry of Culture and media sponsor RTS. Aim of this gathering is cherishing of our folklore and tradition, especially folk music and flute as our national instrument.
Manifestation is planned as gathering and participation. Best amateur flutists from Serbia, from all categories who won some competitions, participate here. Along with flutist here are folk singers, choral groups, cultural and arts clubs, players and others.
Manifestation is held every four years, first week of July, with part of program in village Poslon, home village of Sava Jeremic. Main program is on summer scene in Razanj.
Over 1000 artists participated these manifestations. We had guests from Novi Banovci, Nis, Kraljevo, Ratina, Cicevac, Ribarska Banja, Drenova. Best flutists were accompanied by folk orchestra of RTS under management of Branimir Djokic, Vlada Todosijevic’s orchestra. We should mention famoust flutists: Bora Dugic, Velja Kokoric, Tihomir Paunovic, Petar Markuc, Dobrivoje Todorovic, Pavle Obradovic.
